Andy
Bonzagni from Concord Outfitters will discuss options for getting started fresh
and saltwater fly fishing; rods, reels, lines, leaders and flies plus what’s
new in advanced “gear” for the seasoned fly fisher. He will also present a
slide show on several of his favorite fishing locations with tips on
techniques, tackle, fishing seasons, and what you can catch.
Scott
Evans, a local fly fishing enthusiast and Captain of the Carlisle Minutemen,
will share his experiences trout and freshwater bass fishing in local ponds and
rivers including locations, tackle, tips, and personal insights.
Several
fly tiers will give fly tying demonstrations prior to the presentations and
during the breaks. Scott will also have his antique minuteman muskets on
display.
Seminar is free & open to the public.
