Fluke Fish'n In Vineyard Sound

On a recent Striper fishing trip to Cuttyhunk we stopped at Lucas Shoal for a little fluke fishing on the way back to Falmouth. We had one of our best days ever catching this nice pile of Fluke. Three were over 20 inches. The one on my truck tailgate is 23 inches. Breaded and fried in olive oil and butter these babies are one of the best eating fish Cape Cod has to offer. By the way, there were tons of small bass (and a few keepers) and innumerable Blues at Cuttyhunk breaking on the surface in the rips. A perfect combination for fly fishing!
