Fishing Adventure: Florida for Light Tackle Tuna
Wilson is a frugal Scot who loves fishing and will present slides on an annual June trip he does to Florida to chase inshore tuna on light tackle. The fishing is in the area north of Palm Beach and Wilson will cover the whole itinerary, with maps, photos, and guides to contact. No need to spend thousands to find the "blue water" and great fishing. It's all just off Florida's East coast and an easy non-stop flight from Logan.
A ‘Non-fishing’ Trip to Patagonia
Glen will tell us about his family trip to Patagonia turned out to be an adventure. While his wife was horseback riding he was fishing. That was an exercise in self-guiding and discovery fishing that unexpectedly led to landing a 40 pound Chinook salmon and native trout in beautiful Patagonia.
Silver Salmon, Rainbow Trout, & Halibut Fishing on the Kenai Peninsula Alaska
Steve’s presentation will cover his trip with his son John to the Kenai Peninsula last September deep=sea fishing for halibut and fly fishing for Salmon and Trout. Traveling by car from Anchorage to Homer, Steve will describe logistics, lodging, river access, what they caught and the tackle used.
Event is free and open to the public. Please register on club website.
