Presenter: John Kirk, Outfitter & Guide, Montana Guided Fly Fishing
The rivers of Montana
offer some excellent dry fly fishing opportunities, especially from mid-march
through late October. This presentation will highlight some of our
seasons' best dry fly destinations around the state. Starting with spring
"skwalas" on the Bitterroot river, this presentation will also
discuss Missouri river mayfly and caddis hatches, as well as salmon flies on
the Blackfoot and Madison rivers. We will discuss summertime hopper
fishing and finish with fall hatches around Missoula, Montana.
Event is free and open to the public. Children are welcome.
