Dave Schaefer, long-time Concord Rod and Gun Club member, and Steve Kirk will present an overview of fly fishing and vacation opportunities in Montana and Idaho. Combine a family vacation with a world-class fishing experience on the blue-ribbon fly fishing rivers of Montana like the Missouri, Yellowstone, Gallatin, Beaverhead, Madison and Jefferson or Idaho’s Henry’s Fork or Snake Rivers. Fly fish while retracing Lewis and Clark's trek up the Missouri and Jefferson into Idaho, visit Yellowstone National Park, and go horseback riding at a dude ranch all in one trip.
Capt. Kirk will also present highlights of his 2013 fishing adventures in Massachusetts. Included will be when, where, and how what was caught including predictions for 2014. Locations include Cape Cod and the Islands, Boston’s north shore, Cape Cod Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. Fishing is more predictable than you might imagine if you know the spawning and migration patterns of the MA saltwater game fish and bait like herring, squid and sand eels.
